Abstract

As part of the Puerto Rican cultural field study of the late twentieth century, the article explores their relationship with intellectual concerns in Latin America and the Caribbean from three inings of reflection. On the one hand, examines Puerto Rican production areas and enter into dialogue or confrontation with those historical concers; secondly, that relationship is explored from new theoretical perspectives on the concept of locality. Both inputs also enable critical reflection on contemporary Puerto Rican, its ruptures and proposals.
