Abstract

In the city of Córdoba, a significant number of theatrical shows observed from the early years of the 21st century to the present reformulate and update in many ways the interest in linking theater with reality based on pre-dramatic documentary research. The drama Mi nombre es Eva Duarte (M. Belén Pistone, 2019), is prominently inscribed within these searches, exhibiting these tensions from the coincidence of a name and its symbolic load in a life, revealing a story that it overlaps with history and becomes the reflection of a search for identity that transcends the scene.
