Kant y "el secreto de toda la metafísica": la validez objetiva de las categorías ca. 1772

Abstract

In this paper I study Kant´s first statement of the question concerning the objective validity of the categories. This statement arises for the first time in 1772 and constitutes the first step in the history of the Transcendental Deduction of the Categories. I claim that at this point of the development of his thought, Kant had already found the main thesis that would later guide the Transcendental Deduction in the Critique of pure Reason: the objective validity of the categories it is to be explained due to the fact, that the categories are conditions of the possibility of experience. I will argue that at this very first period this main Thesis rests also on the reform of the notion of the Object, which will later characterize the point of view of the KrV. Finally, I study the consequences of the given answer concerning the groundwork of the metaphysics.
