La perseverancia de los cuerpos. Los relatos de Marcelo Cohen

Abstract

In this article we´ll analize the characters´ body and social experience in Marcelo Cohen´s long stories forming part of El fin de lo mismo and Los acuáticos, and in his nouvelle Impureza. His literature, privileging passages and borders, builds a geography of borderlines, abysses and excesses -the wastes of a savage capitalism. By a minute delimitation of space, he manages to condense a picture in which it is drawn not only the devices for the control of the bodies but also areas of utopia and resistance.
