Abstract

This article analyses Uruguayan Mario Levrero’s The Empty Speech, from a psychoanalytical viewpoint and specially from the urge of desire, its configuration, and the delimitation of the protagonist’s Ego, centering in the analysis of the impossibility of the void in a style of writing that the author wants to propose from the beginning.
