Abstract

The article proposes the analysis of two inaugural moments in the reception of, on the one hand, the first edition of Trilce by César Vallejo in Lima in 1922 and, in a second movement, that of the second edition in Madrid in 1930. More than an attempt to recreate an editorial story, it is a critical gesture interested in replenishing looks that illustrate, with the instruments of the moment of its enunciation, a dazzle before what many did not hesitate to consider an enigma.
