Reassembly and production of historical meaning in the audiovisual installations and recent films of Albertina Carri

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the recent production of Albertina Carri, in which new orientations are observed in regard to the operations of reassembly, re-creation and interpretation of the own and other people´s images. Together with his role as an “archival artist”, we consider in this last era the exacerbation of other personal brands and work proposals linked to transdisciplinarity, reflexivity and subjetivity.
