Mobility and inequalities from the perspective of the social and human sciences

Abstract

In this article we enquire how the relationship between mobility and inequalities in urban space has been addressed in the literature about mobility. To answer this question, we looked over different investigations from the field of social and human sciences. The bibliographic review carried out exposes the significant contributions made from this field to the understanding of mobility problems related to inequality. These contributions enrich urban studies and urban policy planning.
