Arnaldo Momigliano y la historiografía. Reflexiones pisanas en torno a las tradiciones de los siglos XIX y XX

Abstract

In order to make some brief thoughts on the problem of method in Momigliano, few visitors will board a portion of its historical and historiographical production: their contributions to the seminars of historiography at the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa from 1972 until his death in 1987. During the seminars Momigliano analyze the production and inheritance of those individuals in their opinion best reflect the social studies of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, most of them belonging to generations positivist and romantic nineteenth-century German who had formed the core of his intellectual development during his years in Torino.
